Mural, mural on the wall, are you the ugliest of them all?
Candolyn seems in the midst of a menopausal meltdown. Medication and psychological help are in order. She blames everything on her staff. Not that they are blameless. They are just lazy, with no leaderhip. Tabatha to the rescue!
Chris, the scruffy looking male in the shop, matches Tabs word for word. In her best school teacher voice, she declares "I'm not Candolyn". That settles the matter.
During the inspection, Candolyn shows her the dollar store shit she sells, the fugly mural she painted, the hair in the corners, and....the flies and maggots in the cabinet! Tabatha asks the staff what they think, and they feel Candolyn's crazy. No one would admit to the cherries. Candolyn's cherries? All fingers pointed her way.
As Tabatha assesses the skills, she finds Shusan has the best skill set, Sheri has the lowest skills, Wendy cries over her critique, and Candolyn fucks hers up too. And cries. Tabatha tries to talk to her, and the main thing that comes out of that is Candolyn is a pathological liar.
Tabs is frustrated. In more Bravo cross-breeding, she brings in Dr. Shelly, Jackie Warner's shrink on Workout. She is not helpful, but she gives Tabatha a vehicle to launch into a stringent "get your heads out of your asses" rant. Love Tabs!!
She sends them out to market the salon, and gives Candolyn a makeover.
During the makeover, Tabatha gently brings up the awful mural. They agreed it should go.
Sheri wins the $200.00 incentive in the marketing challenge.
Tabs give everyone rollers and paint, and forces Candolyn to start painting over the mural.
The salon makeover is successful. Janice, the receptionist, could not handle the front desk. One of those annoying, vapid young things, with a blank stare when given simple direction. She becomes the drama at the end of this final episode. The job seems so simple.
At the end, Janice is put on probation, but when Tabatha returns six weeks later, she is out of there. Shushan becomes the lead stylist., and a mentor for Wendy and Sheri. Candolyn, however, was still crying.
